Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a lovely experience. The rooms felt like staying at a friend’s house with a cozy and homely atmosphere, but they weren't very soundproof. The Brighton had a very friendly booking process, and my room had everything I needed. The service was top-notch, with a fantastic team of staff who were always nice and very helpful, even arranging food from a local takeaway for us. The location, while not central, was superb and friendly, with helpful facilities like an ironing board and a stocked sink/fridge. However, it could do with a bit of cleaning. The dining area, although small, offered the expected full English breakfast and could have been a bit larger with more variety, including mushrooms. The facilities were convenient and useful for our stay.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise with a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a big double bed that provided a restful night's sleep. The service was exceptional, with extremely friendly and polite staff. The location, while needing a bit more cleanliness, was convenient, near a park and only a short distance from the city center. The dining options offered a good variety, though some improvements could be made, and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel had its ups and downs; a clean and comfy room, with helpful facilities, but sharing a shower and toilet was unexpected. The service was incredibly helpful, with standout staff members like Steve, Peter, and young James. The location was convenient for the city center but lacked amenities like hand wash. The dining experience was wholesome, offering a good breakfast selection. However, there were some issues with cleanliness and facilities like the lack of hand wash.
